.This week I got my final evaluation sheet back and I am very happy with the results. I got a lot of great ratings and some good ones. I received a 5 on having a positive attitude with patients. I always try to put a smile on my face no matter what type of mood I'm in, so it's nice to see that they noticed. I also really enjoyed interacting with the patients. I got a 5 on good attendence which I'm also happy about because I definitely made it a priority to make it every time. As for things I could improve on, I need to work on being more reliable. Although I complete whatever task they assign me, I sometimes find myself confused and needing help. I also need to work on using good judgement. I feel as if I could be more confident than I think I am.
This week was a really good one. It was Valentine's Day on Tuesday and I received a small box of chocolate from on of the patients, which was really nice. Also, Shannon gifted me a Michigan State hoodie since I got accepted, and it made me really happy. Alyssa wrote my sticky note and I'm glad my hard work is not going unnoticed. I also made my paper plate award for the breakfast and I'm super excited to give it to Shannon!
I commented on Savannah's Weebly this week. This week was appreciation week. Since this is my second trimester with Beaumont, I gifted my employer. I decided to make Shannon and Alyssa a "thank you" card to let them know how much I appreciate what they do for me. I also got them each a candle from Bath & Body works because they both love candles. I am excited to let them know how much they are appreciated and I hope they enjoy it!
This was a great week. I have been dong my usual filing and talking with the patients. It is always fun to hear new stories every week. I also got to see another patient graduate, which is exciting. I learned more about heart monitors and the different types of diseases. The picture I took is of the computer where Alyssa and Shannon monitor everyone's heart rate. It is super cool to see the different beats and learn about them.
I commented on Asia's weebly. :) This week was good. I did not go Tuesday since we had an Ice day, but Thursday was a good day. One of the patients brought us homemade granola bars and they were super yummy. I also invited Alyssa and Shannon to our breakfast celebration and they cannot wait! Alyssa also talked to me about my career path and the options I have which helped me so much because no one has ever helped me out that much and it made everything much more clear.
I commented on Nat Step's weebly this week. I love Step!!! This week was a good week at Beaumont. I got to learn how to file different things which was cool. I learned that you can only use black pen when filing and also highlighting is key. I also got to see a patient graduate which was nice since I've gotten to know her these past few months. I am taking blood pressures and getting to know patients better and better.
I commented on Julia Cann's Weebly this week. I think it would be awesome to be able to job shadow in a elementary school!! This week was my first week back from break. I did not realize how much I missed everyone until I came back. I had so much to cacth up on with the patients and my coworkers. It was really nice sharing stories that happened over break. This week I also learned how to mark ITP's and file them which was pretty cool.
I commented on Shannon Marsh's blog this week. She has a very cool job of doing activities and visiting children in the hospital. Definitely something that interests me. This week was a good week in Cardiac Rehab. I took my first accurate blood pressure which was a pretty big deal, considering I have been working on that for forever it seems like. This week was also filled with lots of christmas music and holiday vibes. They had their annual christmas party, and although I was not able to make it, I brought in an ornament and wore my elf hat like they asked me to.
This week I commented on my friend Sara Nevedal's Weebly. I found her blog about Disney interesting. |
